So last night, on TV, on my TV (it may have been on other sets, who knows?), was the one sporting event I watch. The Superbowl. It was decent, I enjoy football, I don't follow it, but I can dig it.
What made it more fun was the beer. I can't say I would have enjoyed it as much had we gone with someone else's plan.
That plan being: "Hey, for the superbowl, lets get cheep, crappy American beer!".
But alas! taste prevailed, and my fridge was stocked with a variety of good ol' American beer.
There was some Mexican beer as well (also good).
Thanks,
Beer Snob: Out.
Nomad: It's too bad you're working on weekends again.
I have none. It bothers me. I see people with a TON of discipline, and because of that they can make things happen that I just seem to flake on. This happens all the time for me, I'll get into something, be it as small as a video game, or as large as an idea to move somewhere, and I don't follow thruough with it. It affects every aspect of my life, and I'm sick of it. I'm sick of a messy house, projects that go unfinished, and chores that don't get done.
I hate being thought of as a flake because I'm undisciplined.

Thanks to everyone who hung out tonight, watching 24. Good times.
list:
Sean, Luke, Nomad, Hayley, Ash, Manish, Mari, Logan, and Maureen.
Wow, I had a lot of people here tonight, sorry to the neighbors if we were loud.
Hayley showed me that my yoga was shit, and told me how to do it right.
Sunday night is really really really good for television, because we watch the 24 from the tuesday before, then all the fun fox shows.
Sealab 2021 is funny.
I think the idea of online publishing is where the book industry will be in about 5 years. I've read books downloaded from the internet before, and have been very pleased (Agent To the Stars comes to mind).
I recently found a new one called Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom which is turning out to be very cool. It's a science fiction story temporaly set in the distant future, and geographically set in Disney World.
The cool thing about publishing online, is that by taking out the middle man publisher, both parties (author, and audience) win. If a writer were to publish a book by conventional means, he would make less than a dollar for each eight dollar paperback he sold. If that same author published thier works online, and asked for a mere $1 for the book, they'd make more, and we'd pay less. Good deal if you ask me.
Just a quick entry.
We went down to Sally's in New Haven last night for the BEST pizza in the world. From now on, if someone asks you "Whats the best pizza in the world?" you tell 'em "Sallys". Tip: Don't go with complainers. The wait is usually about an hour to get in, and another 'till you get the food. It's worth it.
Mari is rushing me out of the house now, so we can go to her house and do more nothing.
I just recently got a wireless access point, for my home, and it's changed the way i use my laptop. Well, I should say it's changed the way I take a shit. Now I can have my laptop with me in the bathroom, not always, but it's nice to know I have the option.
I bet in 10 years we're all gonna have cancer.
The West Wing is a great television show. This show moves fast, uses a lot of hard to follow language, but I don't think it says a lot, other than "Go America!". It does show an idealism that I wouldn't mind seeing more of in our government though.
